Hello

Easter holidays nearly over for most and I guess this will mean the reality of having to face those dreaded GCSEs sometime soon. I know some local to me have taken some of their papers, yes indeed they get the opportunity to have another go in a few weeks time if the grades are not what they wanted/needed!

Shout me here if you need some help or if you like you can find me on faceBook  Just look for Jon J Wood

Where I can be found

Up until now I have my details on a couple of Websites for Tutors. And is it any wonder that hardly anyone knows I'm there! So hence, as i said in the first post, I thought i should put myself about abit (fna fna .....). Currently though you can find me on First Tutors and Tutor Hunt. So if you have come from there and you have looked at a profile of a tutor in the Axminster Devon area (although you cant see that from the site) but you can see that I am in EX13 5 area. The this is me!!!! Dont pay the fee via the site, mail here and we can have a chat, and then you can decided if you want to take it any further. Much better than paying....... after all you might not like the look of me!

What Can I do for you?

I currently work for DCC boooooo! But in my spare time I teach maths. Yehhhhhh!
Just so you know the sorts of Maths i teach here is the current Student list I teach (dont worry I cant reveal names as that would not be fair ....

yr3 Girl from Kilmington Primary
yr5 Girl from Kilmington Primary
yr 3 Boy from Charmouth Primary
yr9 Girl from Axe Valley Community College
yr10 Girl from Woodroffe School (Lyme Regis)

so you can see I am dealing with KS2 KS3 and KS4 (the dreaded GCSEs!)

I am happy to teach up to A level - but this has been a while. Mail me, lets have a conversation and a chat to make sure you are happy, and we take it from there.

Welcome

Hi. I have been contacted via a couple of Tutoring Websites now and thought it was about time that I had my contact details out there. At the moment I am not on Facebook, yes i know i know, but i thought I would start my ripple in the pond that is 'tinternet with where i left off - a Blog. I will aim to write something frequently and post nuggets of what I am doing with my students to help and be informative but also to show others what resources are available, and current. Thats all for now. Speak soon Jjx
